nNorthrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a senior-level Systems Engineer to join our team in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization supporting the Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU) to support a Ground program.
nThis role is responsible for team's implementation of element level requirements and relaying system perspective to development team for how this element works in context of the greater system of systems. This role will interface with all levels of management, employees, and internal and external customers
nThis position will be at our site in Morrisville, North Carolina. This position requires being on-site and does not support remote or hybrid work.

Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of application ( US Citizenship required )

Must have a completed STEM degree ( a degree in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics)

12 Years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's (STEM)

10 Years of relevant experience with a completed Masters's (STEM)

8 Years of relevant experience with a completed PhD (STEM)

Must have above minimum experience on the below:

Experience with requirements development, decomposition, software verification, and generating system and segment-level test procedures

Experience working on Agile programs and methodology

Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)

Experience with Cameo and DOORS

Strong written and oral communications skills

Technical experience developing and fielding command and control systems (TT&C, Flight Dynamics, etc) for Space Systems

nSalary Range: $155,400.00 - $233,200.00
nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
