nMaintain Generators, Electrical System, Fire alarm system and components, work closely with vendors to ensure code compliance and a reliable electrical system from top to bottom.
nPosition Purpose:
nThe Electrician performs electrical testing, installation, repairs and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and daily maintenance on varied building equipment and systems.
nWhat You Will Do:

Able to plan installations, troubleshoot, perform repairs and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment applying appropriate electrical and regulatory codes.

Effectively interprets blueprints, specification documents and regulatory standards as applies to specialized installations, projects and construction.

Maintains current Master Electrician's license through continuing education. Performs data entry on departmental preventive maintenance and work order software.

Supports and abides by all medical center, departmental, and safety policies and procedures.

Proactively identifies safety concerns surrounding the work environment.

nMinimum Qualifications:
nEducation

High school education degree or equivalent.

Post secondary education or formal technical training highly desirable.

Experience:

- Five years minimum experience with a current Master Electrician's license mandatory n

Thorough knowledge of general construction methods

Understands safe working practices for all voltages and equipment types.

High proficiency in interpreting drawing, details, and specifications

Operate other power equipment.

Valid Drivers license required.

Computer software and keyboard knowledge mandatory.

Must be able to wear appropriate mask and be fit tested on an annual basis.
