We are actively hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics to support our expanding operations in Charleston, SC . If you're skilled in ductwork installation , HVAC fabrication , and sheet metal layout , we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints , construction drawings , and specifications for proper sheet metal duct layout
Install and fabricate a variety of HVAC duct systems , including TDF , TDC , Slip and Drive , Spiral , and Snap-lock ductwork
Perform on-site duct modifications , miters , transitions , and custom fittings
Ensure efficient, clean, and code-compliant installation of air distribution systems
Work with project teams to meet deadlines and maintain job site efficiency
Adhere to all safety guidelines , including PPE usage and OSHA requirements
Maintain punctuality , professionalism , and a strong work ethic on all job sites
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic , HVAC Installer , or similar role (preferred)
Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints , duct layouts , and shop drawings
Skilled in installing and assembling both rectangular and round ductwork
Familiarity with duct fittings , hangar supports , and HVAC layout practices
Ability to work independently and follow instructions with attention to detail
Clean background check is required
OSHA 10 Certification is a plus
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
