We're currently hiring a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team and support our growing portfolio of new construction commercial projects.

About the Role:

As a Sheet Metal Mechanic, you'll be responsible for the installation of sheet metal ductwork and related components on large-scale construction sites. Working under the direction of the Foreman, you'll help ensure HVAC systems are installed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with project timelines and specifications.

Responsibilities:

  Install sheet metal ductwork, fittings, and accessories on commercial job sites

  n

• n

  Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and duct layouts

  n
n
• n

  Measure, cut, and assemble duct systems using hand and power tools

  n
n
• n

  Ensure proper alignment and secure fastening of ducts per specifications

  n
n
• n

  Operate lifts, ladders, and other jobsite equipment safely and efficiently

  n
n
• n

  Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to OSHA standards

  n
n
• n

  Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure high-quality work and timely completion

  n
n

What You Bring:

  2+ years of experience installing sheet metal ductwork in commercial new construction

  n
n
• n

  Strong understanding of mechanical plans and duct system layouts

  n
n
• n

  Skilled in the use of duct installation tools, equipment, and safety gear

  n
n
• n

  Ability to work independently or as part of a crew

  n
n
• n

  Willingness to travel to job sites throughout the DMV region

  n
n
• n

  Commitment to jobsite safety and professional craftsmanship
