Summary: Nevada Pic A Part is seeking a skilled and reliable Processing Dismantler to join our auto salvage operations team. This position plays a critical role in safely and efficiently removing key vehicle components, with a focus on catalytic converters-both standard and difficult removals-as well as EV and hybrid batteries. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and experienced with tools and automotive systems. Qualifications:
- Punctual, reliable, and professional
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive systems
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work outdoors
- Follows safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOP's)
- Experience with catalytic converter and EV/hybrid battery removal preferred
- Able to identify and remove valuable vehicle components efficiently
- Uses company equipment and tools safely and correctly
- Basic understanding of automotive safety and de-energization procedures
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred
- Safely remove catalytic converters, including those requiring advanced techniques
- Remove EV and hybrid batteries following all safety protocols
- Perform dismantling tasks in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP's) and safety guidelines
- Use appropriate tools and equipment for dismantling tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Inspect tools and equipment regularly and report any issues using company software
- Communicate effectively with the processing team and supervisors
- Assist with other vehicle processing and labor tasks as assigned
- Contribute to a team culture that values safety, efficiency, and respect
