TMB, Inc is seeking candidates for a Model Based Systems Engineer to support NAVSEA Acquisition Program Office Engineering Support Services requirements. This position is contingent upon the award of the PMS 406 contract.
nResponsibilitiesn
- n
- Apply modeling to support a system’s or SoS’ requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle phases. n
- Modeling architectures of complex systems. n
- Evaluate and compare alternative architectures using qualitative and quantitative techniques. n
Qualificationsn
- n
- At least 1 year of relevant experience. n
- Bachelor’s degree. n
- Professional Engineer License is a plus. n
- Preferably experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering principles; the Systems Modeling (SysML) or Unified Modeling (UML), cross-platform collaborative MBSE/digital environments or equivalent, which provide tools to design, track, visualize, and analyze all aspects of systems in standard-compliant models and diagrams; the DoD Architecture Framework/Unified Architecture Framework (DoDAF/UAF). n
- Must be a United States . n
- Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance. n
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. n
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills. n
- Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings. n
- Ability to travel reasonable distances (up to ½ mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions. n
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in order to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions. n
