TMB, Inc is seeking candidates for a Model Based Systems Engineer to support NAVSEA Acquisition Program Office Engineering Support Services requirements. This position is contingent upon the award of the PMS 406 contract.

Responsibilitiesn

    n
  • Apply modeling to support a system’s or SoS’ requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle phases.
    • n
  • Modeling architectures of complex systems.
    • n
  • Evaluate and compare alternative architectures using qualitative and quantitative techniques.
    • n

Qualificationsn

    n
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
    • n
  • Bachelor’s degree.
    • n
  • Professional Engineer License is a plus.
    • n
  • Preferably experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering principles; the Systems Modeling (SysML) or Unified Modeling (UML), cross-platform collaborative MBSE/digital environments or equivalent, which provide tools to design, track, visualize, and analyze all aspects of systems in standard-compliant models and diagrams; the DoD Architecture Framework/Unified Architecture Framework (DoDAF/UAF).

  • Must be a United States .
    • n
  • Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance.
    • n
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • n
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
    • n
  • Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
    • n
  • Ability to travel reasonable distances (up to ½ mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions.
    • n
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in order to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.
