Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain computer processes and algorithms that monitor engine health data.
- Execute and refine engine condition monitoring strategies using Python and SQL.
- Analyze large data sets to support preventative maintenance, root cause analysis, and design validation.
- Replicate and tailor monitoring algorithms for new engine models.
- Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to investigate failures and recommend improvements.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation and reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering, Analytics, or Computer Science is a plus).
- 2-4 years of hands-on engineering experience (internships can count toward experience).
- Proficient in Python and familiar with SQL (Python coding test may be required).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and statistical thinking.
- Excellent written and one-on-one verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with engines or mechanical systems.
- Formal training in analytics or statistics.
- Familiarity with engine maintenance, product health monitoring, or failure analysis.
- Proven ability to improve and scale analytical processes.
- Proficiency in Python programming and SQL.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of engine components/systems.
