JOB DESCRIPTION - KITCHEN PREP/PRODUCTION
nReports to: General Manager / Asst. Manager
nSummary of Position
nPrepare a variety of products including chicken salads, pimento cheese, side salads,
nsoups, sauces, cookies, desserts, and other food products using a variety of
nequipment and utensils. Strict adherence to CSC standards for recipes, Speed of
nService (SOS) goals and products is required and must maintain kitchen
ncleanliness/sanitation standards.
nDuties & Responsibilities
nAlways adhere to Brand Standards for uniform
nappearance and personal grooming.
nCompletes duties on opening and closing prep and checklists.
nRefers to Daily Prep List at the start of each
nshift for assigned duties.
nPrepares a variety of food products including
nchicken salads, pimento cheese, side salads, soups, sauces, cookies, desserts,
nand other items for cooking/serving to Guest according to CSC recipe and
nproduct standards.
nUnderstands and complies consistently with CSC
nstandard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules,
npolicies and procedures.
nPrepares all food products in accordance with CSC portion
nsizes and recipe specifications.
nMaintains a clean and sanitary work station
nincluding tables, shelves, walls, steamer, kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
nCloses the kitchen properly, following the closing
nchecklist for kitchen and assists others in closing the kitchen.
nAttends all scheduled employee meetings and brings
nsuggestions for improvement.
nPromptly reports equipment and food quality
nproblems to Management.
nInforms Management immediately of product
nshortages.
nUses our Standard Recipe Cards for preparing all
nproducts. Does not rely on the personal memory or of other employees.
