What You’ll Do: n

As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in product development, verification/validation (V&V), and risk management while ensuring the seamless performance of our cell analyzers, sorters, and associated assays .

  • Develop and manage system requirements and specifications.
  • n
  • Assess design feasibility, test product functionality, and drive iterative improvements.
  • n
  • Design and execute test methods to validate product performance.
  • n
  • Provide critical feedback on software workflows and instrument performance.
  • n
  • Analyze and interpret data to ensure compliance with product requirements.
  • n
  • Troubleshoot complex flow cytometry instruments with expertise.
  • n
  • Communicate effectively with Systems and R&D teams to drive innovation.
  • n
  • Contribute to regulatory compliance, risk management, and design transfer activities .
  • n

What You Bring: n

We’re looking for a problem solver with a passion for precision and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.

n

Required Qualifications: n

    n
  • BS/MS in Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • n
  • 5+ years of experience in medical device/in vitro diagnostics product development.
  • n
  • Strong understanding of flow cytometry, hematology technology, and related products .
  • n
  • Experience in writing and managing system requirements .
  • n
  • Broad technical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, optical, software, and biomedical engineering .
  • n
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • n
  • Familiarity with Human Factors and Usability Engineering standards .
  • n
  • Experience with System Engineering tools (e.g., Jira, JMP, TestRail, HelixALM).
  • n
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills .
  • n
n

Bonus Qualifications: n

    n
  • Deep understanding of flow cytometry principles .
  • n
  • Expertise in risk management and regulatory compliance .
  • n
  • Experience with design transfer activities .
  • n
  • Familiarity with Cytek Aurora and Spectro-Flo software .
  • n
  • Leadership experience managing small teams (3-4 members) .
  • n

What to Expect: n

This role involves working in a high-tech environment that may require handling biological materials (human blood or cells), high-energy light sources (lasers), and voltage-based systems . Candidates must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. when needed.
