Description: We are looking for a passionate and experienced DevSecOps Engineering Lead to join our Classified IT Operations team in Marietta, GA. As a key contributor within our Enterprise Business Digital Transformation organization—aligned to the Aeronautics Business Area—you will help shape and accelerate our DevSecOps transformation, driving innovation in the development and maturity of secure, mission-critical classified environments.
nThe ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with deep expertise in DevSecOps methodologies, strong familiarity with Agile practices, and a proven ability to deliver results under pressure. You should thrive in fast-paced environments, communicate with clarity across technical and non-technical audiences, and lead by example in cultivating a high-performance culture.
nIn this role, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, implementing, and supporting cutting-edge IT solutions. Your leadership across infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software development will be instrumental in modernizing and sustaining enterprise-class systems within classified operations.

nBasic Qualifications:
nActive DoD Top Secret Clearance
nDoD 8140/8570 Certification Level II (Security + CE, CySA+, CISSP)
nDevSecOps expertise with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure as code (Ansible, Kubernetes, Terraform), and GIT version control
nExpert-level proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), with strong command-line and system administration skills
nAdvanced expertise in Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows Server 2016/2019 and Windows 11
nDeep understanding of system hardening and security management, including hands-on experience with vulnerability remediation tools and platforms such as Nessus, McAfee, WSUS, Ivanti, Splunk, and SCAP
nStrong experience in on-premises virtualization technologies, including VMware ESXi/vSphere
nComprehensive knowledge of enterprise storage and backup solutions, including EMC Unity and Data Domain
nProficient in managing enterprise storage environments, including NetApp/EMC systems, tape management solutions, and disaster recovery strategies
nProven ability to lead technical initiatives or cross-functional teams, demonstrating leadership, accountability, and successful project delivery
nAbility to lift up to 30 lbs as needed and support after-hours or weekend operations when required
nDesired Skills:
nHands-on expertise with Nagios for infrastructure health monitoring, alerting, and implementing self-healing capabilities
nExperience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
nFamiliarity with multi-factor authentication (MFA) technologies, including implementation and integration of solutions like RSA SecureID
nSolid understanding of core networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize secure network communication
nProficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, and scripting languages like Bash, Perl, and PowerShell
nCertifications:
n• RedHat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
n• AWS Solutions Architect Associate
n• Microsoft Azure Administrator
nSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
nClearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
