nPay range for position: $16.66 to $16.66 per hour

nResponsibilities/Duties
nFollow all policies and procedures
nOn time and attend all meetings
nTake orders and payments from customers for food and beverages following all steps of service guidelines
nUpsell by being proactive with suggestive selling and alerting customers to specials, promotional items and/or events
nDeliver and announce food and drinks to guests with efficiency, accuracy, and enthusiasm
nAccommodate and fulfill any special requests for guests
nCommunicate and work with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are delivered timely and according to The Barrel Steak & Seafood House standards
nCorrect any issues courteously and quickly
nCheck with customers throughout their meal to ensure that they are enjoying their visit and take action to correct any problems
nMaintain a working knowledge of all food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients, and prep time
nAssist team members with any additional tasks as needed.
nComplete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work
nFollow all health and alcohol beverage service standards and maintain a clean workspace
nAdhere to food safety, sanitation and safety guidelines

nSkills/Experience
nWashington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC)
nWashington State MAST/Class 12 or 13
nOne (1) year previous restaurant service experience preferred
nWilling to work a flexible schedule and weekends
nAbility to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs
nStrong work ethic, reliable, aware of the details
nAbility to multitask efficiently
nTeam player with a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
nAbility to stand for prolonged periods of time
nAbility to lift 50+ pounds
