nLearn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile
nAs a Project Engineer, you will:
n• Support the Production Integrated Product Team (IPT) with production ramp planning, cross IPT coordination related to production scope and execution, manufacturing readiness maturation planning & tracking.
n• Coordinate with industrial engineering and rate simulations for multiple factory and test capabilities alongside with manufacturing maturation tasks that support a production line
n• Support coordination of planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of production IPT deliverables and work products within area of assigned responsibility
n• Support coordination oversight across Production IPT scope with Suppler Program Manager
n• Support Ad hoc tasking, including briefing senior leadership on cost, schedule, technical
nBasic Qualifications:
n• Ability to plan, control, integrate and complete engineering projects
n• Ability to work with engineering program and product designs
n• Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope
n• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret.
nDesired Skills:
n• Project management experience
n• Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment)
n• Lean six-sigma experience
n• Experience leading / integrating solutions for geographically disperse teams
n• Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
n• Familiarity with Navy Strategic System Partners (SSP) Customer
n• Experience with a combination of design, test, operations and systems engineering disciplines.
n• Experience on a missile program
n• Experience with missile design development and production program
n• DoD Top Secret clearance

nAbility to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
