Job Summary
The Sales Coordinator position is responsible for ACF's Air division's order processing & coordination, inventory management, and selling of small compressor systems to walk-in, internet, and phone customers. The position includes sales support from time of inquiry to delivery of product which requires product research, quoting, customer order confirmation, pricing, order processing, vendor sourcing, order tracking & expediting, invoicing, and problem solving. As the person becomes more experienced, more in-depth lead generation, market intelligence, special projects, and customer contact will be allowed.

Essential Job Functions
- Sales Coordination: Sell small air compressor systems, pass large leads to systems engineers, update customers on shipments, prepare proposals for customers and systems engineers as needed, keep systems engineers informed on promotions, price changes, and product updates, encourage competition among systems engineers, keep track of Ingersoll Rand promotions, take advantage of special promotions sponsored by vendors.
- Job Bids: Search contractor job boards for upcoming bid jobs, prepare job bid submittals, and manage job bids.
- Inventory: Order and manage all branch completes inventory, prepare machines for shipment, coordinate pickup and delivery of equipment load/unload trucks as necessary, evaluate inventory in Tampa and assist branches with inventory evaluation, reconcile inventory annually, coordinate repair of used equipment with the service and sales managers.
- Order Processing: Enter new customer orders on IR Ordering portal and with other vendors, maintain strategic customers' project schedules, place new equipment stock orders of compressors, dryers, and EA parts for all branches.
- Dealer Network: Establish dealer price levels with sales manager and systems engineers and update dealer price sheets. Coordinate distribution of dealer pricing and marketing material. Visit dealers with Sales Engineers as needed.
- Reports: Prepare booking reports on a weekly and monthly basis, and prepare backlog order report
- Marketing: Develop a Light Industrial Marketing Plan, develop promotions to move inventory, and assist with trade shows. Develop and design new sales and/or proposal forms and templates. Learn competitive product knowledge.
- Administration: Perform CRM updates to IR CPQ and ACF's business system, enter serial numbers and related information into CRM, answer technical questions for customers, call factory/vendors to get technical and/or shipping information, generate and close invoices, check and respond to voicemail and email messages frequently. Keep a database of sales forms and templates. Organize and maintain office filing system.
- Make outside sales calls as needed when systems engineers are on vacation
- Provide sales & product training to administrative staff and business system training to Systems Engineers as needed
- Support the parts and service department during coverage shortages
- Evaluate and reestablish yearly sales and work goals.
- Assist Sales Manager with sales department functions and coordination of sales meetings
- Ensure environment, health and safety compliance. Operate forklift within compliance.

- Computer literacy is required, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Incorporate time management and organization skills on a continuous basis
- Well-developed sales skills including excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic mechanical and technical aptitude. Also have basic marketing knowledge.
- Proven interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers
- Bi-lingual language is a positive, but not mandatory.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must operate forklift vehicle (company forklift safety training and certification provided)
- Must be able to handle high pressure situations, multi-task, and adapt well to changes in the market
- Ability to perform work that exerts up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and perform work requiring frequent talking, walking, standing, and hearing
- Must have visual acuity to perform work on a computer, to inspect/utilize equipment and manage data
- Ability to perform functions during occasional bending, stooping, reaching, grasping, feeling, climbing, balancing, lifting, kneeling, pushing, pulling and finger activities
- The working conditions require exposure to non-climate controlled environments, moving parts, driving, and loud noise levels
- Ability to travel locally and long distance on occasion
Minimum Job Qualifications (education, work experience, licenses/certifications)
- Associate's degree, or 2 to 5 years of sales experience (industrial sales preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience
