Position Description

Join our dynamic team as a Permanent Full-Time Experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet. We are immediately hiring for this key role.

  • Hourly Pay: $25.00 per hour
  • Certification Bonus of $100 for each New ASE Certification Obtained, up to $700
  • Quarterly Bonus: Earn up to $500 Every Quarter
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday with Weekends OFF
  • Hours: Second Shift from 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Repair Mechanic to work on Heavy Duty Vehicles.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or Technical Certification in a related field preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines with emphasis on routine preventative maintenance
  • Minimum of two (2) years of classroom training and work experience preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred
  • Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
  • Pass Ryder Drug Test, DOT physical, road test, and background check

Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties
  • Conduct standard vehicle maintenance and inspections
  • Diagnose mechanical and electronic issues using diagnostic tools
  • Perform root cause analysis for failures and execute repairs
  • Replace defective components as necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance of the work environment
  • Interact with customers and drivers to identify issues
  • Utilize the Shop Management System for documentation
  • Adhere to safety and compliance guidelines
  • Support operations with additional duties as needed
