Essential Job Responsibilities:

n

· Manage major capital investment projects from project conception to completion for any area of the plant.

n

· Effectively communicate project information to all affected stakeholders, including leading meetings, providing updates,

n

managing conflict and finding solutions with both internal and external resources.

n

· Complete projects on time, within budget, and achieve project goals.

n

· Interface with and manage external suppliers for project work.

n

· Supervise contracted resources while onsite for facility improvement projects. Safety to include at a minimum: toolbox

n

talks, daily work permits and constant supervisor presence.

n

· Manage maintenance projects to solve various problems in the mill.

n

· Maintain technical documents and prints.

n

· Ensure all documents and prints are easily available for all plant personnel.

n

Work Experience Required:

n

· 4-year bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

n

· 5-10 years project management experience .

n

· 2-3 years Industrial related experience .

n

· Project Management certification (PMP or CAPM) a plus.

n

· Excellent computer skills

n

Education/Certification:

n

Major(s): Engineering

n

Certification(s): Project Management Certification .

n

Functional / Technical Knowledge:

n

· Strong communication skills

n

· Knowledge and skills in AutoCAD, MS EXCEL, MS Project.

n

· Capable of working independently in a self-directed environment

n

Travel up to 10 % of the time to visit potential suppliers, acceptance tests and benchmarking other facilities.
