Electronics Engineer serves as a subject matter expert in Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) systems. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise and guidance to support the design, development, testing, and sustainment of C5I systems, ensuring they meet program and project goals.

Position Overview
Electronics Engineer serves as a subject matter expert in Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) systems. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise and guidance to support the design, development, testing, and sustainment of C5I systems, ensuring they meet program and project goals.
Essential Job Function
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to TMX-PIO stakeholders on C5I systems, including design, development, testing, and sustainment.
- Conduct assessments and validation of C5I systems to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications, identifying areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot C5I systems to identify and resolve technical issues, providing recommendations for corrective action.
- Review and validate the development and sustainment of technical documentation, including user manuals, technical manuals, and system documentation.
- Develop and draft technical reports, including test reports, validation reports, and technical assessments to support program and project goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software teams, systems engineering teams, and HR IT stakeholders, to ensure C5I systems meet program and project goals.
- Stay current with new technologies and advancements in C5I, applying this knowledge to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices, including those related to cybersecurity, data privacy, and system security.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Possess prior experience in the Coast Guard's C5I professional community
- Excellent technical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
