POSITION OBJECTIVE: Sales Coordinators are at the heart of every successful transaction with our customers. Sales Coordinators work collaboratively with other team members and departments to create and/or sell solutions that meet customer needs. It is critical that all Sales Coordinators have a customer-centric mindset, the ability to follow through on every opportunity until completion, and the ability to build positive professional relationships with customers and co-workers. Every Sales Coordinator is expected to serve customers, internal and external, with a positive sense of urgency. It is expected that Sales Coordinators achieve basic awareness and knowledge of all product lines, with each Coordinator striving to become an expert in at least one area, so that as a team, the most comprehensive solution is provided to satisfy each customer.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Administrative and Sales Coordination:
    • Prepare and process quotes, proposals, contracts, and sales documentation of rental and asset sales contracts.
    • Enter and manage quotes, reservations, and sales efficiently within company systems (e.g., Point of Rental) and company CRM (Salesforce) in conjunction with incoming calls, emails, and requests, as well as those in support of outside sales staff.
    • Schedule solution meetings, product demos, and conference calls with customers and the sales team and operations.
    • Coordinate; Returns, IROs, Out/Inbound Freight logistics between yards, manufacturing, and other asset movements.
    • Effectively coordinates efforts with appropriate departments to ensure a smooth, positive experience for customers and team members.
  • Order & System Management:
    • Process and track orders, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment.
    • Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to monitor inventory and ensure product availability.
    • Owns the contract beginning to end while the customer is in possession of assets.
    • Owns POR updates on a daily basis to keep contracts current, Inbound/Outbound.
  • Customer and Sales Team Support:
    • Serve as a primary liaison between the sales team and customers, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving issues.
    • Advise customers on product and service solutions tailored to their needs, establish contact with MES Team Members in support of specific needs/solutions.
    • Create and nurture long-term customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with overall Sales Staff, Leadership, SME's, Outside Sales, Manufacturing, product teams, maintenance staff, accounting, purchasing and other departments to align sales initiatives with customer experience goals.
    • Support the sales team in achieving goals through shared efforts and teamwork.
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Learn and understand the company's product lines, services, and customer needs.
    • Identify and close on sales opportunities.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall sales success.
