Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design and construction of pilot plants for the chemical and petrochemical industries. This full-time opportunity is perfect for professionals with experience in process equipment, pressure vessels, and mechanical design who want a flexible, rewarding career.nKey Responsibilities:nnDesign and supervise mechanical aspects of pilot plants in the chemical/petrochemical sectorsnCollaborate with clients, vendors, suppliers, and fabricators to ensure project successnSupport equipment assembly, installation, validation, and field services when needednConduct stress analysis, work with stainless steel fabrication, piping, flow systems, heat transfer, and controlsnUtilize CAD/design software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CodewarennRequired Qualifications:nnBS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experiencenExpertise in pressure vessel design, FEA, and stress analysisnExperience with piping, stainless steel fabrication, and chemical processesnProficiency in CAD/design software and tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)nStrong communication and project management skillsnWillingness to engage in occasional domestic and international travelnnPreferred Skills:nnEIT or PE licensenKnowledge of ASME Sec 8 Div 1 (pressure vessels) and PED codesnExperience managing drafting/design teamsnHands-on experience in production and R&D equipment installationnnWhy Work Co.:nnFlexible Schedule: Core hours Mon-Thurs (9 AM-3 PM), early Fridays!nBenefits: 401(k) with matching, health insurance, dental insurance, and more!nCollaborative work culture in a supportive, southern environmentnnAbout Co.:nThe company you'd be working for has a strong reputation in the engineering world, particularly in designing and building pilot plants for industries like oil, gas, and chemicals.
