nYou will be responsible for developing system level artifacts and engaging with customers, mission partners, and other stakeholders to satisfy and fulfill customer directed objectives
nAs a member of the Systems Engineering team you will:
n• Perform in an accelerated, collaborative, dynamic small team environment, closely integrated with customers and contractors
n• Ensure consistency of requirements and traceability back to customer objectives
n• Develop the verification details for the requirements to ensure that the system is able to meet the requirements and support the execution of these verification activities
n• Support the successful execution of program Interim Design Reviews
n• Development of systems engineering documentation such as feature description documents, trade studies, Interface Control Documents.
nSelected candidate must have an active TS/SCI security clearance PRIOR to start.
nThis is a MID CAREER (level 3) ROLE where candidates typically require 5 years of professional experience and a BS degree.

nBasic Qualifications:
n• Demonstrates an Agile Mindset willing to adapt in a fast paced dynamic environment
n• Experience working with Agile teams leveraging Scrum or Kanban
n• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment
n• Domain Experience and Understanding of Command and Control (C2), in one or more of these areas: Mission Management, Planning and Scheduling, Orbital Mechanics, SSA (Space Situational Awareness)
n• Experience developing Operations Procedures and training materials
n• Current TS/SCI Security Clearance
nDesired Skills:
n• Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and proficiency with SysML and Cameo
n• Experience with modern engineering practices such as Cross-Functional Agile teams and Capability-based planning
n• Experience with Systems Engineering tools such as JIRA, and Confluence.
n• Ability to interact with software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
n• Ability to understand complex Space mission planning & execution concepts and algorithms necessary to command and control advanced Space Vehicles in multiple orbital regimes

nAbility to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
