Job Overview:nWe are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support industrial and high-tech manufacturing projects. This role involves designing and optimizing process systems, including fluid transfer, heat exchange, water purification, hazardous waste treatment, and specialty gas and chemical handling. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and leadership skills to drive process improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards.nKey Responsibilities:nnDevelop and optimize process system designs for industrial and manufacturing projects.nConduct process simulations, fluid flow analysis, and equipment sizing calculations.nPrepare and review PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).nCollaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to integrate process systems with facility infrastructure.nPerform hazard and risk assessments to ensure process safety and regulatory compliance.nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.nParticipate in site visits for inspections, troubleshooting, and commissioning of process systems.nUtilize AutoCAD, Revit, and process simulation tools to develop detailed engineering designs.nPrepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for project execution.nnQualifications:nnBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (or related field).nPE license (or ability to obtain reciprocity in Oregon within six months).n5+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in industrial, semiconductor, or high-tech manufacturing environments.nProficiency in AutoCAD/Revit for process design and documentation.nStrong understanding of chemical process engineering principles, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.nExperience with process simulation and modeling tools such as PIPE-FLO or equivalent.nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.nnAdditional Details:nnSalary Range: $100K - $160K (DOE)nBenefits: Health insurance, 401K matching, PTO, and professional development opportunities.nWork Environment: Business casual, on-site role with occasional site visits.
