Senior Process Engineer
Selectek is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join a team focused on designing and optimizing process systems for industrial and high-tech manufacturing projects. The role involves working with fluid transfer, heat exchange, water purification, hazardous waste treatment, and specialty gas and chemical handling. Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize process system designs for industrial and high-tech manufacturing projects. Perform calculations, simulations, and process modeling for fluid, gas, and chemical handling. Prepare process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices. Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers. Conduct site visits for project assessments and implementation support. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (or related field). PE license (or ability to obtain reciprocity in OR within six months). Experience working with AutoCAD, Revit, and process modeling software. Strong understanding of chemical process engineering principles, including thermodynamics and mass transfer. Ability to work on multiple projects while maintaining high attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience using PIPE-FLO or similar software for process system analysis. Prior experience in industrial or high-tech manufacturing environments.
