The Process Engineer – Solar Cell & Module Fabrication will support day-to-day process development and quality control in BaRupOn's solar panel manufacturing line. This associate-level role focuses on optimizing production steps such as wafer processing, cell interconnection, lamination, and module assembly. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in industrial or cleanroom environments with a focus on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations of solar cell and module production processes
  • n
  • Monitor process equipment performance and troubleshoot issues
  • n
  • Assist with quality assurance inspections, defect tracking, and root cause analysis
  • n
  • Document process parameters, testing procedures, and production logs
  • n
  • Collaborate with engineers on process improvements and yield enhancement
  • n
  • Conduct test runs for new materials, adhesives, or manufacturing tools
  • n
  • Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with facility standards
  • n
  • Provide feedback to line operators and support technical training
  • n

Qualifications
n
    n
  • Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or Manufacturing Technology
  • n
  • 2–5 years of experience in solar manufacturing, electronics assembly, or similar environment
  • n
  • Familiarity with lamination, soldering, stringing, tabbing, and encapsulation processes
  • n
  • Strong understanding of measurement tools, quality control, and work instructions
  • n
  • Comfortable in cleanroom or industrial production settings
  • n
  • Detail-oriented and skilled in data collection and reporting
  • n
  • Proficient with Excel and basic production or lab software
  • n
  • Ability to work flexible shifts as needed in a production environment
  • n

Preferred Certifications
n
    n
  • IPC-A-610 (Electronic Assembly Standards) or similar
  • n
  • OSHA 10 or manufacturing safety training
  • n
  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Lean Manufacturing training a plus
  • n
