POSITION PURPOSE:
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales teams, to include partnering with the sales team on status of equipment, generating sales reports, answer incoming customer inquiries and fostering a positive rapport with other areas of the organization. Ensures all Briggs Industrial Solutions standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  1. Effectively communicate with internal customers on order placement, status and new equipment related research
  2. Review and submit equipment orders for Account Managers in the Company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System
  3. Manage the service work order process to include coordinating with the Service and Parts departments for make readies to be completed when new equipment arrives at the branch and obtaining electronic pre-delivery inspection (EPDI) signature
  4. Manage the equipment "E" warehouse work in progress (WIP)
  5. Validate all inbound equipment is received in the dealer business system
  6. Invoice new equipment orders prior to delivery while maintaining monthly forecast
  7. Coordinate with other equipment dealers for equipment that delivers within the Briggs Industrial Solutions footprint
  8. Manage the transportation and delivery of finished goods
  9. Provide equipment updates to other branches, the customer and Account Managers
  10. Coordinate new equipment delivery and manage bill of ladings for records
  11. Manage units, pull stock information and coordinate with the Service department on make readies
  12. Receive new equipment into inventory and correspond with Sales leaders on any issues
  13. Create and manage virtual files as well as hard copy files of equipment transactions
  14. Process payables for freight, demo fees, and local vendor invoices for purchase orders issued for the region
  15. Perform other related duties as assigned

minimum qualifications
Basic Knowledge & Competencies:
  • Excellent customer service, communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work with a high sense of urgency and minimal supervision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills to include prioritization of tasks, communication, execution to meet required deadlines
  • Good knowledge of industry, dealership and general business operations
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions, implement and execute plans and procedures
  • Ability to develop a rapport with internal / external customers to problem solve
  • Thorough knowledge of all systems, procedures, techniques, equipment, operations, standards and reports that apply to the internal / external customer
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and company systems
Previous Experience/Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1+ years' experience in sales coordination preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Working conditions are normal for an office and warehouse environment
  • Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending on a frequent basis
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
