nnSecurity Clearance Requirement: The candidate must be clearable to DoD Secret Level.
nnLocation: Non-Remote: The candidate will work at multiple locations in and about Manassas, Virginia
nnEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree from an accredited university. Advanced degree .
nnExperience Level: Master with 12+ years of experience.
nnTravel: Required annual travel less than 10%
nnOverview:
nSedna is seeking to hire a Master Systems Engineer to lead and develop and implement system architectures and for Navy DoD tactical and support systems.
nnJob Responsibilities:
n•Primary point of contact for collaborate with external partners, customer, or Navy representatives
n•Lead development and analysis of system requirements, validation, and verification testing
n•Ensure compatibility, interoperability, and integration of all functional and physical interfaces
n•Lead system architecture definition, development, and implementation to meet requirements for HW, SW, facilities, people, and data
n•Determine problems, provide solutions that arise during development, upgrade, or maintenance of systems, establish, and manage problem reporting system
n•Identify and manage technical risks
n•Manage development of Contract Data Requirement List (CDRLs) system engineering documentation
n•Implement and manage a technology refreshment program
n•Lead establishment and maintain a Cybersecurity program to support system certification and accreditation of requirements
nnRequirements:n
Basic Qualifications:
n•Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited university or equivalent related experience.
n•12+ years’ experience in requirements development, validation, and verification testing
n•Leadership experience in a significant program.
nnDesired Qualifications:
n•Advanced degree – Master of science
