We are hiring a Civil Project Engineer to support two of the most high-profile heavy civil infrastructure projects currently underway in New York City. This is a unique opportunity to work on transformative, city-shaping projects valued at over $100 million-led by a nationally recognized contractor known for delivering complex, high-impact work.

What You'll Do

n

• n

  Support field operations and collaborate with Project Engineers, Superintendents, and subcontractors.

  n
n
• n

  Supervise field work and subcontractor activities for quality, safety, and compliance.

  n
n
• n

  Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with contract documents and building codes.

  n
n
• n

  Perform material takeoffs and manage procurement schedules and deliveries.

  n
n
• n

  Coordinate shop drawings, mock-ups, submittals, and subcontractor scopes.

  n
n
• n

  Manage document control, subcontractor compliance, and change order processes.

  n
n
• n

  Assist in the preparation of schedules, updates, purchase orders, and subcontracts.

  n
n
• n

  Support monthly billings, cash flow forecasts, and project financials.

  n
n
• n

  Ensure OSHA and environmental compliance; coordinate with QA/QC on non-compliance and corrective actions.

  n
n
• n

  Lead project and financial closeouts in coordination with the Owner and subcontractors.

  n
n

n

What You Bring

n

n
• n

  Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  n
n
• n

  5-10 years of experience supporting heavy civil infrastructure projects valued at $100M+.

  n
n
• n

  Strong background in cost control, contract management, and project documentation.

  n
n
• n

  Proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office.

  n
n
• n

  OSHA 30 certification.

  n
n
• n

  Expertise in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

  n
n
• n

  Bridge construction experience is a strong plus.

  n
n

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
