Mechanical Design Engineer

Selectek has an immediate need for Mechanical Design Engineer  interested in a career in the heavy industrial field. The engineer will be responsible for the creation, storage, and dissemination all of documentation related to proprietary equipment which is integral to the heavy industrial technologies business unit. The mechanical engineer reports directly to the manager of the Equipment Design group. This person should possess strong interpersonal skills and be capable of working well within groups both internal and external to the company.nDuties and Responsibilities:nnGenerate detail drawings and parts lists for equipment fabricationnDevelop general arrangement drawings for proprietary equipmentnDevelop new products as well as expand existing product lines through the use of advanced 3-dimensional modeling softwarenPrepare and issue requests for quotations and Purchase RequisitionsnPerform Technical Reviews of vendor designed components that interface with proprietary EquipmentnInspect fabricated components for conformity to corporate quality standardsnMeet with clients and suppliers to discuss technical mattersnnRequired:nnBachelor of Science in mechanical engineeringnProficient in AutoCADn3D CAD Software experiencennSponsorship:  No, must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card HoldernPay range: $32/hour - $36/hour ($66,000 - $75,000 annual salary)nTerm of assignment:  6 months contract to hirenPay method when direct:  Salary no OTnLocation of job:  Atlanta, GA 30339nHours and shift:  Monday to Friday, 8AM – 5PMnWork from home:  They will start off 100% in the office.
