Responsibilities:

  Cleans and sanitizes patients' rooms and bathrooms daily.

  n

• n

  Disposes of trash and replenishes supplies according to proper procedures.

  n

• n

  Moves furniture and other fixtures to dust and mop floor, resets furniture to present an attractive environment for patients and visitors.

  n
n
• n

  Washes walls behind sinks and commodes.

  n
n
• n

  Cleans and disinfects isolation rooms adhering to proper policy and procedures.

  n
n
• n

  Cleans and disinfects ancillary areas. (Utility and linen rooms, nurse's stations, lounges, etc.).

  n
n
• n

  Cleans and disinfects water fountains, sinks in hallways, telephones, and chair rails.

  n
n
• n

  Vacuums carpets and damp dusts furniture weekly in office areas.

  n
n
• n

  Empties trash and uses hand sweeper on carpets daily.

  n
n
• n

  Understands procedures and properly disposes of infectious waste and trash.

  n
n

n

Schedule: Rotating days, including weekends and holidays, 7 AM-3:30 PM. This opportunity will mainly clean in the Emergency Department. May be pulled to other areas/shifts/days at the needs of the Hospital.
