The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing efficient manufacturing processes and systems. This role focuses on improving productivity, reducing costs, and maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

    n
  • Evaluate current manufacturing practices to identify waste and inefficiencies.
    • n
  • Design and implement process improvements with a strong focus on safety and quality.
    • n
  • Develop facility layouts and/or process changes to improve production reliability and workflow.
    • n
  • Collaborate closely with Plant General Manager to support plant-specific improvement initiatives.
    • n
  • Recommend capital expenditures that drive cost optimization and process improvement.
    • n
  • Analyze labor utilization and develop cost-effective labor standards.
    • n
  • Propose and support equipment relocations and plant consolidations where applicable.
    • n
  • Create project timelines and coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain schedules.
    • n
  • Evaluate and update manufacturing standards and documentation as needed.
    • n
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while aligning with overall organizational goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

n
    n
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
    • n
  • 2–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
    • n
  • Strong ability to lead and work within cross-functional teams.
    • n
  • Effective communicator across all levels of the organization.
    • n
  • Proficient in value stream mapping and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • n
  • Experience with process control development and implementation.
    • n
  • AutoCAD experience .
    • n
  • Experience in a distribution center environment is a plus.
    • n
  • CNC machining experience is a plus.
    • n
