Competitive Range Solutions requires the expertise of a talented and experienced System Engineer, Cisco PBX (VoSIP), to assist in directing and managing the program's executive support group. The candidate must reference their ability and experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) customer environment and effective integration with a government multi-contractor team.

The System Engineer will maintain a complex voice communication system supporting DoD customers. This role requires expertise in VoIP, VoSIP, and TDM technologies and a proactive approach to modernizing and consolidating voice services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

    n

    Responsible for operating, maintaining, and modernizing voice communication services to ensure seamless and secure telecommunications.

    n

  • n

    Manage and maintain government-furnished Cisco PBX systems, VoIP, VoSIP, ACD, and all associated telecommunications management systems 24x7x365.

  • n

    Develop and execute a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to update all voice infrastructure with the latest patches, vendor upgrades, and security/compliance requirements.

  • n

    Continuously monitor the performance of voice systems and infrastructure, taking corrective actions when necessary to ensure optimal operation.

    Respond promptly to customer incident tickets, restoring systems and services to full operational capability with minimal downtime.

    Maintain and update all relevant documentation, ensuring all systems are compatible with long-distance, local exchange networks and central office connections via SIP or TDM.

    Work closely with Long-Distance and Local Exchange Carriers and government stakeholders on current and future numbering plans and technology provisions.

    Provide technical and project management support for voice projects, including PBX analysis/implementations, VoIP technical design, and wireless product troubleshooting.

Qualifications/Experience:

    n
  • n

    Active Secret Clearance.

    n
  • n
  • n

    5+ years' experience in operating and maintaining Cisco PBX systems.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Extensive experience with Cisco PBX, VoIP, VoSIP, and TDM technologies.

    n
  • n
  • n

    In-depth knowledge and expertise in telecommunication, networking, and IT infrastructure.

  • n

    Proficiency in government telecommunications systems and standards.

  • n
  • n

    Experience in preventive maintenance programs and system troubleshooting.

  • n

    Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to consult with various stakeholders.

Education/Certifications:

    Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

    Master's degree preferred.
