Job Title: Client Engagement Specialist
Location: Hybrid (candidate must be located in the Houston area)
Position Type: Contract (Initial 6 Months), Potential for Full-Time
Reports To: Managing Attorney
Job Summary:
Devenere Law Collective is seeking a proactive, results-driven Client Engagement Specialist to join our team on an initial six-month contract, with potential for full-time employment based on performance. This role is responsible for driving client growth, building and maintaining meaningful relationships, and leading the internal HITT (High-Impact Targeted Touchpoints) sales initiative.
The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with a strong background in sales, comfortable with cold, warm, and hot lead generation, and committed to increasing firm engagement and revenue through strategic outreach and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Development
  • Lead and build the firm’s internal HITT sales team focused on client acquisition and retention.
  • Follow up with firm contacts and leads to build and deepen client relationships.
  • Conduct cold, warm, and hot lead outreach via phone, email, and in-person networking.
  • Track and manage the full client engagement pipeline, from initial contact to conversion.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to tailor client communications and engagement strategies.
Relationship Management
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for potential and prospective clients.
  • Develop and nurture a network of referral sources and community partners.
  • Maintain a consistent schedule of outreach, follow-ups, and relationship-building efforts.
  • Represent the firm at relevant community and industry events to foster visibility and trust.
Internal Coordination & Reporting
  • Provide regular sales reports and progress updates to firm leadership.
  • Maintain client records and engagement tracking in CRM or internal systems.
  • Ensure that all client-facing communication reflects the firm’s values and standards.
Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Sales, or a related field (JD or legal experience a plus)
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct sales, client engagement, or business development (experience in legal services or professional services strongly preferred)

This is a commission-based position. Compensation is tied directly to performance, with the potential for increased earnings based on successful client conversions and engagement outcomes.
