Brake and Tire Check is looking for a highly experienced and skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in automotive glass installation, repair, and replacement, along with a commitment to quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

n

In this role, you will diagnose and resolve auto glass issues, deliver accurate estimates, and perform repairs and replacements with efficiency and precision.

Responsibilities:

n

• n

  Diagnose and assess automotive glass damage.

  n
n
• n

  Remove and replace windshields, door glass, back glass, and quarter glass.

  n
n
• n

  Ensure proper function of windows and windshields, including defrost and wipers.

  n
n
• n

  Perform repairs on chipped or cracked windshields.

  n
n
• n

  Ensure proper installation of moldings and seals.

  n
n
• n

  Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  n
n
• n

  Provide excellent customer service.

  n
n
• n

  Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

  n
n

n

Qualifications:

n

n
• n

  10+ years of experience in the auto glass industry.

  n
n
• n

  Certification from the Auto Glass Safety Council (AGRSS) is highly preferred (e.g., Certified Auto Glass Technician, Master Auto Glass Technician). Certifications from the Independent Glass Association (IGA) are also considered.

• n

  Proficient in using auto glass repair and replacement tools and equipment.

  n
n
• n

  Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  n
n
• n

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  n
n
• n

  Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

  n
n
• n

  Ability to safely lift and move 40+ lbs.

  n
n

n

Preferred Skills:

• n

  Experience with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration.

  n
n
• n

  Knowledge of different types of auto glass and their applications.

  n
n
