We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Journeyperson Maintenance Electrician with a strong background in preventive maintenance, electrical repair, and industrial systems for our client.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience and be certified to perform electrical work in accordance with NEC and local building codes and be bilingual in Spanish.
Location: Midlothian, TX
Salary: Starting at $35/hr.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems including:
    • Wiring, switch boxes, receptacles, feeders, conduits, coaxial cables, and lighting fixtures
    • Switchgear, transformers, regulators, industrial motors, generators, and alternators
    • Hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
  • Conduct electrical testing: continuity, voltage, current, and resistance
  • Execute preventive maintenance programs and record-keeping
  • Participate in the plant's thermography and predictive maintenance program
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and PPE standards
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams and electrical schematics
  • Work independently or as part of a team, with communication across multiple organizational levels

    • Minimum Requirements:
    • C ertified Journeyperson Electrician (required)
    • Trade certification in the electrical field
    • Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
    • Experience with PLC systems
    • Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) Instrumentation and control systems
    • Familiarity with motor testing tools and thermography
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
    • Experience working at heights and in confined spaces
    • Strong communication and listening skills
    • Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination
    • Ability to identify wire colors and follow safety labeling
    • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
    • Reliable attendance and punctuality
    Additional Information:
    This position requires compliance with all safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) .
    Candidates required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the seal contacts the face, per fit testing guidelines.
