Work Schedule: Regular hours are Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Employees may need to adjust work hours during surge situations.

Brief Job Description:

n

As a key member of our pricing team, the Pricing Manager plays a critical role in ensuring proposals are both competitive and compliant-directly contributing to Axxeum's mission of delivering high-quality aviation and manufacturing services to government clients. This individual will lead pricing efforts across a variety of contract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), and Cost-Plus. Responsibilities include developing and managing pricing templates, sourcing and analyzing cost data, and presenting pricing assumptions in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs). The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in pricing strategy, government contracting, and proposal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs resources, prioritizes tasks and provides guidance to team members in delivery of pricing efforts.
  • n
  • Develops and maintains pricing templates for FFP, T&M, and CP contracts.
  • n
  • Performs the costing and pricing process for new and existing customers.
  • n
  • Prepares timely and accurate quotes for customers and ensures all quotes are approved and comply with internal policies.
  • n
  • Reviews vendor sources and analyzes relevant pricing data to support RFP/RFQ responses, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • n
  • Manages simultaneous pricing efforts and maintains delivery schedules effectively.
  • n
  • Analyzes contract requirements and ensures compliance with RFP requirements and corporate policies.
  • n
  • Tracks all win/loss results and provides activity reports to identify opportunities to increase revenue and sales.
  • n
  • Communicates risks and opportunities while developing compliant pricing.
  • n
  • Works closely with Contracts, Finance, Business Development, Purchasing and Administration.

Required Qualifications

n
    n
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • n
  • Minimum 5 years of pricing experience in a government contracting environment
  • n
  • Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS
  • n
n

Preferred Qualifications

n
    n
  • 3+ years in a leadership or management role within pricing
  • n
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint is a plus
  • n
  • Knowledge of DCAA audit requirements
  • n
  • Familiarity with various government contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF)
  • n
n

Physical Requirements:

n

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility to include but not limited to: bending, reaching, climbing, turning, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required. Must be able to lift, move, and transport items frequently over 10 pounds.

Work Environment:

n

Generally, work is conducted in an inside office environment, but may also involve some outside work depending on the task. The inside environment may be in an office or cubicle with close quarters, low to moderate noise, and bright or dim lighting. Outside work may include various environmental conditions including warm and cold climates and while on travel.
