- Process third party claims for payment n
- Assure DRG rate, payor factor mark up, and re-bundled items are correct n
- Review problem claims to prorate or re-bill appropriate insurance n
- Responsible for mail, telephone inquiries, or resolving problems with insurance companies and patients n
- Processes adjustments, inquiries and monthly reports on a specific payor, i.e., NJBC, HMOs n
- Performs other clerical duties as assigned, i.e. filing, pulling accounts, attaching correspondence, etc. n
Experience Required

- Knowledge of 3rd party regulations n
- Previous experience in hospital billing n
- EPIC experience strongly preferred n
Education Requirements
