We are seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to join a client's team of substation engineers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of substation design, protection and control, and electrical engineering. Experience working in a substation environment is essential.
The primary responsibility of this position is to design, install, and maintain substations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Designing substation layouts and electrical systems
- Installing and testing substation equipment
- Maintaining substation equipment
- Troubleshooting substation problems
- Working with other engineers and technicians to ensure the smooth operation of the substation
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 7+ years of experience working in a substation environment
- Strong understanding of substation design, protection and control, and electrical engineering
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
