MKEC Engineering Consultants
MKEC is looking for a Transportation Structural Bridge Engineer at our Oklahoma City, Wichita, Overland Park and Tulsa locations to assist with the design and production of DOT, turnpike, county and municipal transportation projects.
nResponsibilities:

- Prior experience in bridge design. n
- Design and assist with the production of bridge projects n
- Prepare and assist with project proposals, interviews and presentations to clients n
- Understanding of bridge hydraulics n
- Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to staff members. n
- Attend client meetings to ensure design meets their needs and objectives. n
- Develop and maintain client relations n
Requirements:
n- n
- B.S. in Engineering from an accredited institution n
- 0-6 years of experience in transportation projects involving DOT, Turnpike, county and municipal work n
- Proficient in AutoCAD or MicroStation n
- Preferred knowledge of software such as MDX and LEAP Bridge n
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office and Excel n
- Highly organized, self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects at once. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and time management skills are required n
- Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines, exhibit good business judgement and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately. n
- Minimum EI accreditation with the expectation of obtaining a PE license in a timely manner n
- Knowledge of local standards and requirements is preferred. n
