Job Description
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the following:
  • Overseeing and mentoring engineers
  • Program and Project Management
  • Designing, Developing and Troubleshooting electrical equipment
  • Leading functional activities of the Mechanical Engineering Team
  • Reviewing and Approving critical engineering drawings
  • Participating in development of product requirements, specifications and schedules
  • Evaluating and reccommending design changes and specifications
  • Supporting and providing technical dlow downs for program requirements

The Successful Applicant
The successful Mechanical Engineer should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 8 years of relevant work experience designing and developing mechanical / electrical equipment
  • Experience with 3D CAD software
  • Knowledge of metals, plating and mechanical testing processes
  • 2-3 years of program leadership
  • Experience with AS9100
  • Documentation management skills
  • Experience with RF Coaxial, Data and AC/DC Power Surge Protection Devices
