Description: You will be the Quality Engineer Asc for the Sensors Integration & Test manufacturing center. Our team is responsible for designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment to ensure high-quality products are delivered to the customer.
nWhat You Will Be Doing
nAs the Quality Engineer Asc, you will be responsible for supporting product quality tests, performing statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications, and reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes.
nYour responsibilities will include:
n* Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment
n* Supporting product quality tests and performing statistical analysis
n* Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes
n* Analyzing and resolving process issues
n* Leading corrective action meetings and participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards
n* Performing assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance
n* Evaluating design assurance activities and implementation of production process methodology
n* Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues
n* Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement

nBasic Qualifications:
n• Bachelors level degree or higher in STEM
n• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
n• Knowledge of robotics and automation implementation
nKnowledgeable of AS9100 standard and implementation of Quality Management System
n• Experience processing material review boards and dispositioning non-conformances
n• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products (electronic assemblies)
n• Experience doing root cause analysis and corrective action planning
n• Knowledge/experience evaluating risk when establishing new processes, automated controls and improvements
n• Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques
n• Knowledge of Configuration Management and control processes
n• Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
n• Strong presentation skills
nDesired Skills:
n• Experience implementing automated processes and robotic technologies
n• Ability to design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment
n• Special Process Engineering experience
n• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams,
nproduct / performance specifications and other systems integration technical data
n• Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
n• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
n• SAP Application experience
n• Effective communication skills - written, oral, listening and technical writing
n• Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
n• Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO), aerospace (AS), and FAA regulations
nSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

nAbility to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
