Cook I is responsible for preparing and cooking food in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Embody the shared values of Hotel Drover
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a demanding, fast paced environment.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and specifications.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and facilities in a clean and sanitary condition.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
- Assist with inventory and ordering of food and supplies.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
- Must have a valid current Food Handlers Card or willingness and ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
