Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in cooking high-quality food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow their culinary skills. As a Line Cook, you’ll be responsible for prepping ingredients, cooking menu items to spec, and maintaining a clean and efficient workstation throughout service.

Key Responsibilities:

n

Set up and stock your station with all necessary supplies before service

n

Prepare ingredients as directed (e.g., chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, making sauces)

n

Cook and plate dishes according to chef specifications and restaurant standards

n

Work in coordination with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

n

Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station during and after shifts

n

Properly handle and store leftover food

n

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

n

Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, with attention to quality and consistency

n

Communicate any issues (e.g., equipment malfunctions or ingredient shortages) to the Sous or Executive Chef

n

Skills & Qualifications:

n

Previous kitchen experience (line cook, prep cook, or similar role) preferred

n

Solid understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment

n

Ability to follow recipes and directions accurately

n

Strong work ethic and reliability

n

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

n

Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety

n

Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills

n

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
