Under the direction of the Director of Analytics, the Insights Generation Manager will drive the strategic use of technology to accelerate and enhance insights generation across the enterprise. Acting as the strategic arm of analytics, this role will shape how analytics is delivered organization-wide, with a particular focus on leveraging advanced and emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI).

The Insights Generation Manager will lead efforts to promote and train stakeholders in self-service analytics, integrate AI into analytics practices, and establish robust analytics governance as the foundation for effective insights generation and delivery. This position is pivotal in fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and maximizing the value of analytics tools and strategies.

    Extensive experience with Epic's Cogito roadmap and SQL-based reporting.

    Strong understanding of statistics, data science, metadata management, and metrics development.

    Demonstrated experience in applying AI within analytics to solve complex challenges.

    A growth mindset and passion for adopting and utilizing the latest technologies to support a healthcare system's evolving needs.

This flexible hybrid role allows for a blend of remote and on-site work, requiring presence on-site at least 10-20% of the time, and as needed based on operational requirements. Please note, travel to the 'home office' location is not reimbursed. Each employee will complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager to outline expectations and ensure mutual understanding. These arrangements are periodically reviewed and may be adjusted or terminated as necessary.

Salary offers are based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The full salary range for this position is $112,900 - $256,900 annually. The University anticipates offering a salary between the minimum and midpoint of this range.

  • n Previous experience managing analytics or reporting services functions and teams in a healthcare environment to generate insights across the enterprise.nn

  • n Track record of utilizing AI as a tool to derive value and generate insights.nn
  • n
  • n Leadership and managerial track recordnn
  • n
  • n Extensive knowledge of best practices regarding analytics, workflows, policies, procedures, systems and culture in the healthcare environment requirednn
  • n
  • n Understanding of SQL as well as relational and multidimensional designs. Preferred understanding of coding languages like Python to conduct and deliver analysis quickly.nn
  • n
  • n Interest and investment in learning new skills to improve the way analytics is delivered, including upskilling in AI Tools.nn

  • n Ability to develop strategy that supports the usage of technology to derive business value, in a tangible and measurable formatnn

  • n Ability to focus on KPIs, measurement, and tracking business outcomesnn

  • n 5 Years Healthcare experience requirednn

  • n Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, data structures and reporting required, and how best to ensure the quality, security, and standards of datann
