POSITION SUMMARY:

n

We are seeking a Part time Service Center Representative (SCR) at our Dardenne Creek Campus (DCC).

n

The SCR will warmly welcome students, prospective students, tour groups, staff, and guests. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a student-focused attitude.

n

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    n
  • Answer general questions about the programs at DCC: nursing, allied health, agriculture, culinary, and health occupations programs.
  • n
  • Provides event information and general campus information regarding hours of operation, college website access, and other activities.
  • n
  • Assists students or visitors with scheduling appointments with the Allied Health Academic Advisors and Pathway Navigator.
  • n
  • Answers incoming calls professionally and promptly. Directs calls to the appropriate area or staff member. Logs and takes accurate messages.
  • n
  • Maintains an adequate supply of information or other publications regarding college programs and services.
  • n
  • Assists with other administrative tasks, such as responding to allied health emails, maintaining a tour schedule, managing the reception area, and proctoring exams as needed.
  • n
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding student and staff information.
  • n
  • Updates student information, logs visitor details, and maintains accurate records.
  • n
  • Assists with campus events as needed.
  • n

MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

n
    n
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • n
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • n
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • n
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage time effectively.
  • n
n

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

n
    n
  • Previous experience in customer service, or administrative role is desirable.
  • n
  • Some college coursework
  • n
  • Experience in an educational setting is a plus.
  • n
n
