Pharmacy Technician Instructor position at our Dardenne Creek Campus (DCC)

to teach courses in the pharmacy technician certification program. Course times may vary depending on the need. Part time appointments ae made on a semester-by-semester (as needed) basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Teaching students in a hybrid learning environment the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to become successful as nationally certified pharmacy technicians.

Delivering engaging instruction both online, and in a traditional, classroom/lab setting.

Assessing student progress, providing feedback, and supporting students in their journey to achieve their career goals in the pharmacy setting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

In order to qualify for this position, an applicant is

required

to have either a current or retired license as a pharmacist, have worked as a

certified

pharmacy technician for more than 3 years,

OR

hold a bachelor's degree in a health sciences related field with experience in pharmaceuticals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with diverse groups.

Proficiency in instructional methods and technology.

Teaching experience and/or experience with adult learners.
