Description
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Tier II Cook to join our dietary services team. This full-time role requires flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends on a consistent 11 AM - 7 PM shift. The ideal candidate has solid cooking experience, excellent time management, and a passion for creating meals that are both nourishing and enjoyable.
Location: Aspen Ridge of Utah Valley - Orem, Utah
Schedule: Full-Time | Weekdays & Weekends | 8-Hour Shifts (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and menus
  • Ensure food is served at appropriate temperatures, with proper presentation
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout shift
  • Assist with food prep, inventory rotation, and restocking
  • Comply with dietary restrictions, textures, and special diets as directed
  • Work collaboratively with dietary team to support smooth kitchen operations
  • Uphold all safety and food handling standards in accordance with regulations
Requirements
  • Previous cooking experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or high-volume kitchen setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification preferred)
  • Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and dietary needs
  • Strong work ethic and ability to manage time effectively
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and team collaboration
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
