You are recruiting for a Lean Manufacturing Manager. The role involves leading and designing lean manufacturing goals and strategies for improving operations and processes within the organization. This position is responsible for managing all activities related to continuous improvement and performance enhancements, employing lean methodologies and tools to achieve business objectives.nTasks & Responsibilities:nnContribute to creating and implementing best practice Lean vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.nContinue new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Lean activities.nDevelop a robust continuous improvement plan in partnership with the Management Team and key business stakeholders.nImplement and support organizational cultural change and drive business improvement.nLead continuous improvement process using Lean Six Sigma technique and employee engagement. Support operational objectives through incremental improvement projects.nFacilitate Kaizen events and manage projects to completion. Follow up to ensure improvements are sustained and performance targets are achieved.nEstablish operational performance metrics to provide visibility of performance and efficiency.nWork with Operations and Facilities in establishing a capital plan for new production equipment to support automation and single-piece flow.nOptimize production cell layout, line balancing, and process flow to improve productivity.nDevelop facility and production cell layouts in CAD to model flow.nSupport the development and maturing of the employee training program and standardization of work and documentation of production processes.nEngage with MRP to enhance Kanban for efficient material flow.nTrain and educate the workforce on Lean tools and concepts, and serve as the main resource for the culture of continuous improvement.nPerform Industrial Engineering analysis of new and established processes and recommend improvements.nnRequired:nnBachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial engineering.n5+ years of experience in a Lean Manufacturing Lead role managing hourly and salaried employees.nGreen Belt in Six Sigma.nStrong ISO experience and ability to prepare the company for ISO certification.nStrong leadership and communication skills.nnPreferred:nnBlack Belt in Six Sigma.nnPay: $100-$125k.nIf you are interested in learning more about this opporutunity, please contact Jaie Rogers at or call 678-802-6632.
