Customer Success Manager - SaaS / Engineering Tools (Hybrid, Redwood City)
Location: Redwood City, CA (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $130,000-$160,000 base + equity + benefits
A fast-growing SaaS company transforming the electronics design industry is hiring a Customer Success Manager to support and grow its global customer base. With over 2 million engineers relying on its platform to design next-gen hardware, this company is backed by top-tier VCs and entering a high-growth phase fueled by AI and proprietary data infrastructure.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role supporting global component manufacturers through onboarding, expansion, and renewal. You'll be the trusted advisor and advocate helping them extract full value from the platform - and shaping how electrical engineering is done at scale.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Onboarding & Enablement : Guide new customers through the onboarding process, ensuring successful activation and adoption across use cases.
  • Relationship Management : Build trusted, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders at global electronics brands. Understand their goals and tailor support accordingly.
  • Advocacy & Feedback Loop : Represent the voice of the customer internally. Gather feedback, share insights with Product and Engineering, and help shape product roadmap decisions.
  • Renewals & Expansion : Monitor customer health and proactively drive upsell and renewal opportunities. Collaborate closely with Sales and Account Management teams.
  • Support & Troubleshooting : Resolve technical and workflow-related questions. Work with engineering and support teams to address complex issues and maintain satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years in a customer-facing SaaS role (Customer Success, Account Management, Solutions Engineering, or Support)
  • Experience working with technical products or developer tools; familiarity with hardware, CAD, or electronics design is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - clear, responsive, and strategic
  • Highly organized and analytical - strong with tools, metrics, and insights that drive retention
  • Passionate about customer success and value delivery - someone who naturally wants to help
  • Comfortable navigating fast-paced startup environments and wearing multiple hats
