nWe are seeking resumes for multiple Mechanical Reliability Engineers in our Valdosta, GA. Paper Mill.
nThe Mechanical Reliability Engineer is responsible for coordinating the planning, organizing, and completion of mill reliability programs within the area of assigned responsibility. The engineer will help to define and participate in the development of mechanical reliability programs to maintain and improve the reliability of machinery in the mill. This includes providing technical direction, assistance, and solutions to maintenance and operating personnel.
nPrinciple Accountabilities:
nResponsible for managing all phases of developing key maintenance programs from conception through final implementation.
nWill work with key maintenance and engineering personnel to support daily, monthly scheduled maintenance outages and annual outages jobs within the field of electrical maintenance and engineering.
nSome crossover activities to the mechanical maintenance programs will be required to deliver complete programs for all types of equipment.
nWill work with mechanical maintenance/engineering and operations personnel to complete electrical or mechanical maintenance projects and programs including necessary training, stocking of spare parts, preventive maintenance checklists, drawing creation and updates, etc.
nSupports the Mills goals for safety, environmental, and other areas of need.
nFocus on electrical equipment reliability.
nManage equipment tracking and rebuild programs.
nUtilize predictive & preventative maintenance programs to identify and correct equipment issues.
nInput and update equipment information and documentation.
nDevelop equipment manuals for precision inspection and maintenance of equipment.
nManage area equipment PM and maintenance programs.
nManage assigned work for monthly and annual outages.
nAssist with MS Project timelines for monthly and annual outages.
nPlan and execute capital projects for maintenance replacements of equipment.
nEffectively manage jobs for best result at lowest cost.
nLook for opportunities to solve issues, reduce cost, and improve planning performance.
nSolve problems utilizing the mill’s RCFA program.
nEffectively manages contractors for performing jobs.
nPerforms other responsibilities as needed.
nBasic Qualifications
nBachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent education and experience required.
nA minimum of 2-5 years’ experience, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering in the Pulp & Paper Industry.
nExperience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and AutoCAD.
nSuccessful completion of a background check, drug screen required, and authorization to work in the U.S. for an unlimited period of time.
nPreferred Qualifications
nPulp & Paper industry experience preferred.
