MAINTENANCE PRIMARY PURPOSE :
To help maintain the physical school buildings in a condition of operating excellence so that full educational use of them may be made at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills :
Ability to maintain valid Texas driver's license
Must be able to pass criminal history and MVR driving record check
Knowledge of different types of paint and thinners
Knowledge of special equipment used in painting trade
Ability to communicate in English
Experience :
Three years of experience in painting trade
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mental Demands:
Painting involves detail work and concentration; must be able to work alone; must be able to calculate paint purchase needs
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Walking and standing; work on ladders and scaffolding; heavy lifting and carrying 20-80 lbs.; work with paint and refinishing products which are toxic; exposure to dust in all painting projects
