Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, analysis, and integration of electro-mechanical and avionics systems.
- Develop and execute system requirements, verification plans, and test procedures .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, manufacturing, and quality to ensure seamless product development.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and troubleshooting efforts .
- Assist in preparing and maintaining system-level documentation (interface control documents, test reports, compliance records).
- Contribute to compliance with FAA, military, and industry standards such as DO-160, DO-254, and MIL-STD-810.
- Provide technical support during prototype builds, system testing, and production release .
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- 4-5 years of relevant aerospace or defense engineering experience .
- Familiarity with FAA, DO-160, DO-254, or MIL-STD-810 compliance standards .
- Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS, Reqtify, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA V5, or AutoCAD.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience with embedded systems or avionics software .
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma practices .
