Job Description: An Account Executive coordinates client relations to ensure renewal and additional sales needs are met. Primary responsibilities include coordinating client objectives, marketing renewal business, attending client meetings, conducting/coordinating enrollment meetings, and general oversight of Employee Benefit plans.
Job Details:
Position Title: Account Executive, Employee Benefits
Position Type: Full-time, Exempt
Position Location: Burnsville, MN
Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00. Pay is based on many factors including but not limited to education, skill, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Understand and actively work toward agency goals and strategies
  2. Understand and actively round accounts by offering additional agency services
  3. Oversee and manage client renewals to include marketing, proposal, presentation, open enrollment, build, update and test online software, carrier communication, benefit guides, marketing wrap up, client folders, EPIC updates and any/all activities associated with client renewals.
  4. Assist Producer with marketing new business.
  5. Keep Producer informed of client activities.
  6. Manage and oversee claims utilization of clients on a consistent, monthly basis.
  7. Provide ongoing customer service to assigned clients.
  8. Maintain knowledge and relationship with Carrier Representatives, Carrier websites and Carrier Product Offerings.
  9. Maintain knowledge of State and Federal compliance.
  10. Provide other support whether apparent, required or needed.
  11. Complete additional projects as developed and assigned by your supervisor or management.

Qualifications:
  • A current and valid Life/Health license is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years life/health group insurance marketing and customer service in an independent agency is preferred.
  • Qualified candidates must be able to multi-task, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess at least intermediate Windows, MS Office (specifically Excel) and Adobe skills.
